A nice book to read at Christmas time: Jara Bartzelonan

A NICE BOOK TO READ AT CHRISTMAS TIME

Jara Bartzelonan (Jara in Barcelona)

Last year we read “Jara Bartzelonan (Jara in Barcelona)”, a teenager novel written by Jasone Osoro. The plot was about a teenager girl who has to settle in a new city and make new friends and the setting is the city of Barcelona in the 21st century.

At the beginning, the main character, Jara, a Basque teenager, moved to Barcelona because her father found a job there. In her search for friends and popularity she started to do silly things such as drinking, not studying and so on.

Will she be the same Jara again or will she become a silly girl just for popularity?

In my opinion, the book is really hard and interesting.
